EVENT DESCRIPTION
​
The 2025 Ontario Senior Provincial Championships will take place November 7–8 at Variety Village in Scarborough. As one of the premier weightlifting competitions in the province, this event offers senior-level lifters from across Ontario — including emerging talents and seasoned veterans — a chance to test their strength, compete for provincial honours, and qualify toward national-level competition.
Whether you’re chasing qualifying totals, looking to set provincial records, or seeking a high-level competitive experience, this championships promise to deliver top-tier lifting, camaraderie, and provincial pride.

VENUE INFORMATION
​
Variety Village is Toronto’s flagship inclusive recreation and adaptive sports facility, committed to accessibility and community engagement. The venue features a multi-sport complex, weight and cardio rooms, full-size sport courts, an indoor track, aquatics, and extensive support infrastructure. Variety Village is served by TTC bus routes, including the 12A which stops directly at the facility. With over 168,000 sq ft of accessible space, multiple courts and sport areas, and full support spaces (changing rooms, warm-up areas, spectator zones), the venue is well-suited for a large-scale provincial meet.

The Ontario Weightlifting Association’s annual OWA Club Challenge Series gives lifters the chance to throw down in their own club, test their progress, and earn recognition against athletes across the province — all while building club strength and community. With over $10,000 already awarded in prizes, this four-event series supports athlete development and grows club capacity to host high-quality competitions. Open to all ages and levels, the OCC is your chance to compete regularly, track your growth, and help your club climb the leaderboard. Burlington Barbell Club is excited to host another weightlifting event to showcase Ontario's incredible athletes. This event is intended to include lifters of all ages and all levels, whether as a preparatory competition for the upcoming season of a first time competition for new lifters!

CrossFit Connection, located at 845 Harrington Court in Burlington, is one of the region’s longest-standing CrossFit gyms and a staple in the local fitness community. The 10,000-square-foot facility features a spacious training area equipped for all levels of athletes, with dedicated change rooms and plenty of free on-site parking. Known for its experienced coaching staff and strong community atmosphere, CrossFit Connection provides an ideal setting for both everyday training and high-energy competitions.

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Join us for an online workshop designed to equip you with the skills to become a Technical Official. Our interactive virtual clinic will provide all the necessary information to prepare you for the Technical Official role.
​
Gain the knowledge and confidence needed to progress through the certification process. At the end of the session, participants will have the option to take the Category 4 (Provincial) Technical Officials theory exam immediately or at a future date.
​
Please be aware that completing this course is just one step in the journey to achieving Category 4 certification.
