NCCP Coach Bursary Funding Available!
Coaches Association of Canada
The Coaching Association of Canada is launching its NCCP Coach Bursary program for the upcoming 2023/2024 season. This is an opportunity for all coaches to gain assistance in completing the necessary modules for both Competition Introduction and Competition Development certifications

Up to a maximum of $300 per individual in the fiscal year (April 1, 2023-March 31, 2024) will be available to cover up to 60% of eligible course registration fees (workshop training) and up to 90% for completion of certification process (portfolio + evaluation). Home study workshops are no longer eligible.

CAC launches NEW Mental Health in Sport eLearning!
Free eLearning
Mental health impacts the quality of life and performance of both sport participants and coaches. The Coaching Association of Canada’s Mental Health in Sport eLearning module was developed to educate coaches about mental health to empower them to effectively play a role in supporting the well-being of the participants in their sport program, while also supporting their own mental health. 
The 45-minute module is now available for free in the eLearning section of the Locker.

The CAO is now accepting applications from PSOs for the next NCCP Super Clinic, February 24-26, 2023, in-person at the University of Toronto!

The Coach of the Year Award recognizes the outstanding achievements of a coach, both for the sport performances of their athlete(s) or team and for exhibiting excellence in sport values.

The Impact Award recognizes an individual or organization for their creation of an innovative event or program that has benefited the sport and coaching community.

The Community and National NCCP Coach Developer Awards recognize outstanding individuals who have gone above and beyond to develop certified and trained NCCP coaches.

The Petro-Canada Coaching Excellence Awards recognize coaches whose athlete or team has achieved a medal-winning performance at a World Championship, Olympic or Paralympic Games, or at the Special Olympics World Games.

The National Indigenous Coaching Awards recognize coaches who demonstrate a commitment to a holistic lifestyle that embraces physical, mental, cultural, and spiritual capacities.
